Schwarz Group's Data Management in future will rely on Shareconomy, Co-innovation and Best Practices
Schwarz IT KG (SIT), the digital heartbeat of the Schwarz Group, has been the internal service provider for information technology of the Schwarz Group. The internationally leading trading company with 429,000 employees in more than 30 countries worldwide is essentially composed of the two retailer brands Lidl and Kaufland.
Stefan Peetz, Managing Director Data & Enterprise Architecture Management at Schwarz IT KG, stated:

LIDL has been a member of the Corporate Data Quality Competence Center since 2018 and now Schwarz IT KG representing the whole Schwarz Group is also member of the innovative community. The aim is to work together with other progressive companies and research institutions on innovative solutions such as the use of data catalogs or better data quality through the implementation of Machine Learning (ML) / Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
